February 26, 2025 Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) give notice. In a notice of a gas schedule for ramadan to provide a constant gas supply to customers during Sehri and Iftar timings in Ramadan.
As we know Ramadan is a month of spiritual reflection and family gatherings. Peoples are expecting for quick measures from the government and gas authorities to overcome this trouble.
Due to shortage of a gas across the country, SSGC has created a plan to distribute gas efficiently. As announced in a notice from the company . Some areas may experience low gas pressure or no gas at all during some hours.
However, some experts suggested that authorities should consider some measurements to overcome this problem:
- To meet the coming demand, government could Import additional gas.
- Ensure even distribution Implement for better supply management.
- Reduce excessive consumption to encourage energy saving measures.
SSGC will follow a gas management plan just to make sure gas is available to customers during cooking times especially at sehri and Iftar timing. After that gas supply will be temporarily stopped at some or remaining hours.
Shortage of gas supply in Ramadan
Peoples from different cities are expressing dissatisfaction , also highlighting the severe challenges they are facing due to shortage of gas supply.
On January 29, one man shared that his family are dealing with the gas shortage for over a year. “ Our kids skip breakfast. In order to avoid very expensive and dangerous LPG cylinders. we have begged the government to supply gas for at least four hours everyday”, he claims (ANI).
Gas will be available in the evening from timing 3:30 PM to 10:00 PM. In the morning from 2:00 AM to 9:00 AM to facilitate the customers.
Gas schedule for Ramadan
However, gas supply shortage will be during the morning hours from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM and at night from 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
The company is focusing attention on that these measures goal to ensure a smooth and constant gas supply for domestic consumers. Furthermore during meal preparations in Ramadan.
Company announced High demand and limited gas supplyis the main reason for the gas shortage. Moreover many houses just depend on gas for cooking. They are worried about that how they will manage during the holy month of Ramadan.
