Iran’s foreign minister said that Iran sent its response through Oman. Foreign Minister also announced that their indirect talks can continue .

Foreign Minister sent a reply to United States President Donald Trump a letter through Oman. In the letter, Trump asked foreign Minister to agree to a new nuclear deal, according to Iranian state media.
IRNA which is a Iran’s official news agency On Thursday. IRNA quoted Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi saying that Iranian sent its response through Oman in the right way.
Furthermore he said that “Our response includes a letter where we shared our views on the current situation and Mr. Trump’s letter,”.
During his first term as U.S. president, Trump pulled the U.S. out of a 2015 nuclear deal. This deal had set strict limits on Iran’s nuclear activities in exchange for lifting sanctions.


After Trump withdrew from the deal in 2018 and reimposed strong U.S. sanctions, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported that Iran has gathered enough nuclear material for multiple bombs. However, Iran has not taken steps to build one.


Foreign Minister says its nuclear program is only for producing energy for civilian use.
The details of Trump’s letter to Iran’s 85-year-old leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, have not been made public. The letter was sent when the United States government put new sanctions on Iran. Which is a part of its maximum pressure campaign.

Minister has not shared details about its response, but so far, it has rejected Trump’s warning to make a deal or face military action.
Earlier on Thursday, Kamal Kharrazi, an adviser to Iran’s leader Khamenei, said Iran has not closed all doors to negotiations.
Iran is open to indirect talks with the United States to assess the other side, share its own conditions, and make a decision,” the adviser said, according to state media.
